The Cordelia Road Dip Is Getting Fixed

Public Works announced the Union Pacific folks are fixing the dip at Cordelia Road railroad crossing.

The dip is getting fixed, according to Public Works Director Dan Kasperson.

He said Tuesday that when a few years back Union Pacific Railroad workers performed maintenance on the railroad crossing at Cordelia Road, the middle set of track was lowered, creating a "problematic" dip.

UPRR is currently doing work on the railroad tracks to correct the situation, so all the tracks are on the same level, he said.
