Solano Family and Children's Services will take a public field trip to Denio's Farmers Market in Sacramento. Meet at Donut Queen - 904 Alamo Drive in Vacaville, and carpool or drive yourself to one of the largest markets in the area.
For the day: Wear comfortable shoes and get some great ideas from Denise McBride. Turn a paper cup into a spaceship, dip a colander into bubble solution, and learn how to use inexpensive items to create activities for children.
Note: Parking is $3 and entry is free. Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring small change, dollar bills, and water (plus, a wagon and/or wheeled container to carry your purchases).
