Learn About Owls At Suisun Wildlife Center

The Suisun Wildlife Center is set to educate folks about owls starting Friday.

The Suisun Wildlife Center has an opportunity for you to see owls up close and out in the field in an exciting two night event. Learn the facts about owls:

  • The first night includes an audio-visual presentation, viewing of native California owl species, and hands-on study.
  • On Saturday, there will be a field trip to view local native species with Napa/Solano Audubon Society board memebr and field trip leader Robin Long.

Friday's event will run from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the . Participants will be given instruction for the Saturday field trip, which will run from mid-afternoon to evening.

The event fee is $15.00 per person and $25.00 for two -- one child FREE with adult -- extra children $5. Fee includes one-year membership in the Suisun Marsh Natural History Asociation.

To register call the Wildlife Center at 429-4295 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. No walk ins will be accepted. Limited to 30, they had 20 as of this morning. Call today!
