The Countdown To A Party: Kroc Center Opens Soon

The Salvation Army Kroc Center's grand opening celebration is on May 26.

The Salvation Army is just a few weeks away from its grand opening celebration of the new Kroc Center.

The 60,000 sq. foot facility at 586 E. Wigeon Way will include, according to a news release: family fitness, recreational swimming, family enrichment, sports programs, a computer lab, teen & youth activities, summer camps, swimming lessons, family worship and more.

Chris Audette, membership manager for the Kroc Center, said the Kroc Center folks are in high gear:

"With Grand Opening just about three weeks away, the excitement level keeps rising in our office. New members and the local community fill the Welcome Center daily to inquire on programs or register for summer camps, basketball camp, and swim lessons.

Watching this vision of community coming to fruition is an absolute privelege. Our staff is being finalized and I heard today that the pools are being filled with water! We are really close. We invite the Solano County community to join us on Saturday, May 26th to tour the new Kroc Center and enjoy an afternoon full of activities. There truly is something for everybody to transform mind, body, and soul."
