Toast to Ag And Open Space

Support Solano Land Trust in a Toast to Ag and Open Space on Sunday, June 24 from 1:30 to 5:30pm at Winterhawk Winery.  Enjoy wine tasting and a glass of wine ($7); hot-off-the-grill tidbits from Vinnie’s Smokin’ BBQ ($2-$5); free horse-drawn wagon rides by Access Adventure; and rockin’ country tunes from the Terry Sheets Band.

Guests dressed in country western attire will get a free raffle ticket for a chance to win one of several fabulous raffle prizes.  Solano Land Trust staff and board will be on hand to talk about the Land Trust’s efforts, including the campaign to save 1,500 acres at Rockville Trails between Suisun and Green Valleys.  Seeing Solano art will be on display, showcasing imagery and impressions of Solano County’s precious farmlands, ranchlands, and natural areas.

“When you support Solano Land Trust, you are helping protect quality of life for our community and future generations,” says Nicole Byrd, Solano Land Trust’s executive director. “Your support is focused on local projects important to us all.”

Twenty percent of all wine sales on June 24 will be donated to Solano Land Trust. Winterhawk Winery has been making artisan wines since 1977, and hosts Sunday events to benefit local public benefit organizations.
