Tuskegee Airman, Pearl Harbor Survivor To Be Grand Marshals In Fairfield

The July 4 parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Texas Street.

Lt. Col. James Warren, a Tuskegee airman and Charles Link, A Pearl Harbor attack survivor, will be the Grand Marshals for the Fairfield Independence Day Parade, according to The Reporter of Vacaville.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. and will beign its route along Texas Street, The Reporter reports, with a reviewing area at Texas and madison Streets, near the Fairfield Center for the Creative Arts.

The committee putting on the parade started in May, and depsite budget cuts from the city and redevelopment, it has found corporate sponsors this year.
