Dear Friends in Suisun City,

I resided in Fairfield for 20-1/2 months and met so many people from the area. Now, I am visiting a relative quite a distance away, but a very big part of my heart is right back home in SuisunCity-Fairfield. What a wonderful area, where the efforts of our military are high on the agenda. 

During my time in the Suisun City area, i attended recognition ceremonies at an area school that demonstrated parental and neighborhood camaraderie. While living in the area, i saw community efforts to build a unique urban-rural area of multiple businesses, industry, and community joining to provide neighborly attitudes throughout the area.

I salute the entire area for ongoing efforts to build the larger "wide spot" on the corridor between Sacramento and San Francisco where it is enjoyable to leave the freeway and spend time in shopping, recreation, and event-oriented adventures. I recommend to those in neighboring communities, towns, and cities to check out "what's happening" in Suisun City and in Fairfield. The combined residential/military/business & industry/ as well as retail/worship/educational complex offers a microcosm of American life at its best.

Needless to say, I am "homesick" for Suisun City and Fairfield. As a military widow, I am grateful for the support of the military and the community spirit in support of America's Armed Forces and families. The area is home to many, many military families and veterans and their families who deserve support. 

I look forward to returning to the area and wish to greet all my friends and former neighbors. Thank you, SuisunCityPatch, for the opportunity to share.
